An awesome scene of love and hate
dueling the eternal fight
Neither nearing resolution
Brawling for a final fate

A sultry summer's final cheers
The ponderous wonders sought at end
Going out, a blaze of glory
Slowly waning, winter nears

Twilight comes, the sun hath died
Drowning in the westward grave
Darkness reigns upon the earth
The sun then rises, a breathing sigh

Summer blossoms, rejuvinates
Endless days of blissful care
A calming, soothing, gleaming dream
The days then shorten, wintry taint

The cycle runs to and fro
Light and dark enraged in fury
Balanced in an endless stalemate
Neither wins this cosmic show
