Abyss
Single-minded blindness, our limited view
Ignorant cruelty reigns supreme.
Deep in the pits of moral evil,
Surrounded by the brainwashed masses.

Awaken, aware of impending doom,
seeking flight from this dark underworld.
Forming my plot, escaping the darkness,
Self-destructing culture, void of good

Tempted by the mistress of lust,
seeking the path narrow
At crossroads, two paths to choose,
one to freedom, one to chains

Treading thin ice, onward i venture,
pursued by the souls of darkness

Can I leave this Abyss?

Is there a world beyond?
