Universal Combat: Elite is a free game, constantly in development, which is freely distributed online for anyone to enjoy.

The single player section of UC:E is built from the DarkPlaces engine, while the Multiplayer is made from FTE Quake.
Darkplaces has also been used in another free online game called Nexuiz (www.nexuiz.com). UC:E, like Nexuiz, is constantly being developed and made better.

There currently has been no release yet, nor is there a release date.
