Scrambled Paragraph Exercise 1

Put the following sentences in the a sensible order and add these expressions:

Time is very important to them.
They talk quickly, walk rapidly, and eat in a hurry.
They work hard and play vigorously.
Americans are very restless people.
They are always looking at clocks and watches, and are never unaware of the time.
They never really relax.
They do everything quickly.

Scrambled Paragraph Exercise 2

1. Eliminate (by crossing out) 3 sentences because they are irrelevant (not related to the rest of the paragraph).

2. Put the rest of the sentences in logical order to create a good paragraph.

3. Punctuate the sentences and use the following transitions correctly:
