This is just a little piece I wrote that takes place just after "Scientific Methods". And I mean, just after, as in, what would happen if it kept going. APOLOGIES By: Lauren Taylor The two of them broke apart from the kiss and stared into each others eyes. "B'Elanna, why are we hiding out in here? Let's go somewhere, everyone knows about us now." Tom told her. She smiled at him, and went in to kiss him. The two of them kissed some more, and then broke apart again. "Holodeck?" she asked. "But of course!" he smiled. "You go on ahead, I want to get a shower first. I just want to cool off. For some reason, I feel really hot." she told him. "It's more than just a feeling, 'Lanna." he said with a grin on his face. She gave him another kiss, and the two of them walked out of Tom's quarters. B'Elanna walked towards her quarters, and Tom went to the holodeck. *************************************************** The beach resort was crowded tonight, probably everyone wanting to relax after the recent events that had befallen Voyager. Tom spotted Captain Janeway coming towards him. He smiled and waved to her. "Tom, I want to apologize for what I said to you and B'Elanna earlier." she said, "I'm happy for the two of you." she smiled. "Captain, you were right, we were a bit out of hand." he laughed. Harry walked by the two of them laughing, and walked over to them. "Hey, Tom, I'm sorry about earlier. I didn't know you were with B'Elanna." Harry said. "Why does everyone have to apologize?" Tom asked. The three of them walked out to the water, and walked along the edge of it. Tom noticed that B'Elanna still wasn't here, so he left Harry and the captain to wait by the entrance for her. About ten minutes later, she came rushing in, wearing the same thing she'd had on earlier. "Tom. I'm sorry I'm late!" she said as she ran over to him. He swept her up in a huge kiss, and then put his arm over her shoulder...
