L@@King (Looking) By Erin Alpert The @s are s’posed to be little Oy Eyes. A Paris poem for Jess.. poor poor Jess. NONONNO!!! I will * NOT * stand for Before and After.. and this Paris/Kes thing... gross.. if there is * NO * P/T.. I’ll probably do some Fan Fic. I didn’t know what I was looking for, I thought that I was lost. I’d never find my path again, I could never pay the cost. I didn’t know what I was looking for, I though I’d always be the lost soul, I’d be wandering aimlessly, Without intention, without a goal. I didn’t know what I was looking for, It seemed so far away. But the pain inside was close, And it would surely stay. I didn’t know what I was looking for, * Didn’t * being the key word, Then I had these feelings, And they just felt so... absurd. I didn’t know what I was looking for, Until I saw her standing there. Trying to cope with her co-workers, Not showing mercy, not being fair. I didn’t know what I was looking for, So I went over to see. I asked her what was wrong, She replied, “I don’t know, maybe it’s me.” I didn’t know what I was looking for, And asked her to explain. She went on about her troubles, And I listened to her complain. I didn’t know what I was looking for, Then I noticed it at once. I needed another troubled soul, To comfort this lost dunce. I didn’t know what I was looking for, The girl was what I needed. I asked her to come with me, I begged, and I pleaded. I didn’t know what I was looking for, And she had agreed. I had fallen in love with this lost woman, In a record time of speed. I didn’t know what I was looking for, But I finally figured it out. I needed her to love me, Without a trace of doubt. I finally solved this mystery, It’s better then any fantasy, I love her, she loves me, Looking sometimes helps you see. Copyright.. yatta yatta yatta... mine mine mine.. Eraalpert@aol.com
