Hi everyone!  

I live in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada!  *Yup, the great frozen North - LOL*  That's why I have this background with all the Maple leaves.  

I am the eldest of 4 children (I have a sister and two brothers) and I was born in Montreal, Quebec on May 18, 1943!  That's correct, I'm 54 years young!

My family is  scattered all over the place, Mom's in Florida, my Sis is in New York, one Bro in Ottawa, and the other in Toronto.  When we do get together (and it's hard, because we are ALL very busy) we have a GREAT time.  

I have been active on the World Wide Web for the past two years.  As a volunteer I currently work with 'Puter School (an e-mail help desk),  Ask Sharon (a  help desk for the HTML challenged) and spent a year as a guide for new users of PowWow (a cool one-on-one real-time chat program.)   

My latest volunteer job is as a Community Leader for the EnchantedForest, right here in Geocities.  I belong to several committees in the Forest, to see them all, go HERE.

An honors graduate of Canadore College (North Bay, Ontario) in Hospitality Management and Business Administration (Human Resource Major),  I decided that computers were the way of the future and "found my calling" in the artistic expression of web site development.  Always an entrepreneurial soul, this opportunity seemed too good to pass up, and thus was born "web designs by SHARON" in July, 1996.  "Ask Sharon" followed shortly after as an effort to "pay back the Web" for all of the great free stuff that's made available.   

I can help you out with your home page problems, and if you catch me in a really good mood, I might even design a graphic for you. *But you have to ask REALLY nicely*.  
  

My  business experience includes:   
"Oh La La! Chocolats Ltd." - (hand made chocolates and "Ben & Jerry's" ice cream franchise,)  so there is a new site coming soon at NapaValley featuring chocolate making recipes and some GREAT menus for entertaining.  
  

  

For relaxation I  sing (Ellington is a favorite), listen to music of all kinds, do some gourmet cooking, reading, traveling (New Orleans is the BEST), and watch movies. If you are wondering, the song that is now playing is "Havanu Shalom Aleichem" which is Hebrew for "Welcome to My Home".
