Ty re-issued the New Face Violet Teddy to give to his employees and main representatives at a Christmas party. Less than 400 of these bears were manufactured.
There are 5 generations of swing (hang) tags.
The original nine beanies include CHOCOLATE, PINCHERS, SPOT (without a spot), SQUEALER, PATTI (raspberry color), CUBBIE, SPLASH, LEGS, and FLASH.
Prior to the original nine beanies (released in 1994), there were 3 beanies released in 1993: BROWNIE (brown bear), PATTI (deep fuchsia), and PUNCHERS (red lobster).
Jewel and Penny Marshall (along with other stars, I'm sure!) collect beanies!

TWIGS the Giraffe has made an appearance in Jerry MacGuire and on the Nickelodeon gameshow Figure It Out. Have you spotted him?
Also appearing for their 15 minutes of fame are: HIPPITY and FRECKLES (on Nash Bridges), and CURLY (on Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman).
NIP, the beanie, was actually named/styled after Ty Warner's real life cat also named Nip!!
