Hi India,

My name is Alison Davis. I'm a 12 year old girl in grade seven at Lawrence Elementary school. I have blonde, layered hair and is 5'6'' tall. I'm the tallest girl in my school.

I live in North Battleford, Saskatchewan, Canada. I like living here.

I go to a Kindergarten to grade 7 school. My school only has 255 students and 15 teacher/staff. We go to school at 9:00 am.- 3:30 pm. There are two 15 minute recesses and 1 hour lunch period.

We study French, Language Arts, Math, social Studies, Spelling, Health, Arts.Ed, Phys.Ed, and Music.

Our schools in North Battleford only speak French and English. My school only speaks English. Other schools only speak French. And some speak both.

After Lawrence, the grade 7's go to Alexander Junior High for grade 8 & 9, then we go to the Comp. for grades 10, 11, & 12. I'm looking forward to leaving this school. I've been here since Kindergarten. That's a pretty long time.

We don't have to wear uniforms. We can practicaly wear anything we want to school unless it shows too much of our body, but we never do so, it's never been a problem.

I join the sports teams and we go to different schools around the city and have games and tournaments with them. It's fun. We also get to know other people around the city our age. What kinds of sport activities do you like? What kinds of things do you like to do during spare time?

My favorite television programs are The Simpson's, Seinfeld, Home Improvement, and The Drew Carey show. My favorite movies are Titanic, Scream, and Good Will Hunting. How about you?

Dear Friends,

Good to hear from you! Michelle and I loved all of your wonderful letters about your school. We can't believe that 3000 students attend your school, only about 500 kids attend our school in Aurora. Do you only have 1 teacher to your class of 51 kids?

In our school we get to choose what we want to wear. In other words we don't have to wear uniforms. We attend school 5 days a week ( Not Saturdays or Sundays. ) The hours we go to school are 8:50am till 3:30pm. We get two 15 minute, and a one 1 hour recesses.

At our school some subjects that we take are: English, Math, French, Science, Geography, Physical education, Health, Computers, Music and Art.

My name is Becky and I am 14 years old. I go to Sir Arthur Carty school in London Ontario Canada.

My hobbies include playing sports, playing games on the computer and spending times with my friends. My favorite sport is baseball.

My favorite computer games are Duke Nukem 3D, Doom and Warcraft. My favorite tv show is The X-Files.

My three favorite bands are Hanson Spice Girs and Backstreet Boys. I think Taylor Hanson is so cute. I saw a hanson concert in Paramount Canada's Wonderland. Canada's Wonderland is in Toronta Ontario. Toronto is about two hours away from London if you go by car. Canada's Wonderland is mostley made up of roller coasters.
