Something deep inside me says not to do this... but I'm doing it anyway. Even though, legally speaking, they are not my family... biologically speaking, the boys are still of my flesh.
So, I'm taking a few minutes to introduce my former family, no matter how broken and scattered we are, they are still with me in my heart.
my exwife...I met this young lady back in May of '94 while I was working in a gas station trying to pay my college tuition.
She was at church one Sunday morning and after it was over she discovered that she had a flat. She tried to play the "poor little rich girl" routine with her father and get him to take it to have it fixed. Thank goodness Kenneth finally made her do something for herself for once...*smile*.
She brought her car to the station that I was working at (as most of you would know, I was still drunk from the night before's partying...*grin*) and I somehow managed to fix that flat...*laugh*.
It took more time for me to fix that flat than any other before or since then...I was too busy staring at her.
For some strange reason she liked me, and we hit it off right from the start. Me, being the drunk I was, couldn't remember her name, so I was S.O.O.L. ($hit out of luck) in hopes of ever seeing her again.
I got lucky enough to run into her again a few days later in WalMart and we went out on our first date (I still had no idea what her name was though...*lmao*). To say the least, the date was a "success"...*veg*, and we were married February 28, 1996.
She and I constantly fight and argue, even after our divorce, and no matter which direction all of our turmoil leads us, I will always love her.
Our photo is here....*smile* Susan was pregnant with our son Harrison... this pic is from our wedding.
My boys, two kids that don't have a chance because they both look identical to their dear old dad...*lol*
