Temperment: Java is full of energy & very friendly. She is very sweet, intelligent, & loving. Java always helps out around the barn. ^_^
Skills: Java's eager-to-please nature combined with her intelligence make her an easy dog to train. I only showed her in conformation & obiedence (she did very well in both), but if she had gone to another home I'm sure she would be a champion gun dog. Java knows how to sit, stay, come, heel, shake, lie down, roll over, fetch, and bring her bowl when she is hungry or thirsty & I haven't filled it yet.
Other: I take Java to nursing homes regularly as part of a pet outreach program. She is kind of big but her wonderful manners and friendly personality have earned her lots of popularity. :-)
