Remember these guys? Yea, I'm sure you do. They were the band that I was going insane over last year, second or third place in the whole vote for your band contest. They are still the best band out there that uses a synthesizer, and I am still very firm in that belief. As many of the songs on this disc were from the EP, I'll try to limit discussion of those tracks to a minimum. Specifically, I about had a mental meltdown with "Sincere", trying to figure out where I had heard the synth line before. Where I had first heard the synth line, or something near it, was in a Newsboys song, called "Breathe". The Red Hot Valentines are just raring and ready to hit it big, as all the parts of the band fit together so well, from the vocals of the singers to the synth to the guitars and bass. If you want to see the mania that will be surrounding this band in the next year or so, check out their fans in the Urbana-Champaign area. They really know where this amazing band will be going, and I would suggest you that you go and pick up their album from their website, at http://www.redhotvalenines.com. I would say that the main discernable difference from the EP tracks and the tracks specific from the full-length is that those from the full-length generally have a more "real", more indie feel to them. This is not to say by any stretch of the imagination that these songs are worse than the first batch of songs, but they do show the progression of the band in just a scant period of time.
