, 17 songs, 2001. Im glad that I waited so patiently for this package from this band, since there was a postal strike in the post offices in their side of England (Liverpool). Very cool 60s James Bond theme song vocals with very punk rocky guitars and drums. The title songs chorus evokes memories of the Misfits and to a lesser degree the X-Ray Spex. From casual listening this album is much more polished then their album before this (Stacks, Stilettos, Make-Up & Mohicans). Robs guitar lines in songs such as Kill the Trash and own Worst Enemy totally impress me with the inherent talent utilized in creating each one. Mandy, the lead singer of the band, besides being a wonderfully nice contact, has a voice that just pleads for the listener to pay attention and fall love with it. Center of Attention has a very strong drum beat at the entrance of the songs, with a catchy chorus that full draws from the late 70s-early 80s punk bands (early Siouxisie and the Banshees, Slits, Blondie).F&M shocked me with the stark changing of the style of the song, as it ids so different from the first 4, pulling more from the Jello Biafra vein of vocalizing. Peter Brown adds a jangly ska guitar riff with a 50s era vocal style to it. Mandy would have to honestly be one of the best vocalists that I have the pleasure to deal with in my 50+ reviews. Get hold of this simply amazing band at M.D.M., 13 Lime Grove, Toxteth, Liverpool, Merseyside, L8 0S5 UK, and ask for a price list, because you need to hear these guys (and girl).
