Wow. I thought this band would be a shitty nu-metal band. I was wrong. They are a shitty aggro-punk band that follow whatever non-conformist trend there currently is, including a strong, anti-racist sentiment in "Smashing Fascism". However, the anti-racism is replaced by the band with another type of hatred, just that of anything that is mainstream, as evidenced in such songs as "Phat", "Billy", and the like. The music is really nothing to write home about, as it seems almost quaint, an afterthought. Besides some interesting guitar solos that are so randomly placed throughout the music, there really isn�t anything to be excited about. If you like your garage punk to just continually whine and moan about society, then I would most enthusically recommend this band for you. But for me, I like my hatred to be tempered with intelligence, and this intelligence to come to my knowledge through the liner notes or through the lyrics themselves. While I can definitely excuse the horrid recording for a decent band, the simple fact is that it just adds to the simple boredom that I feel for this band.
