This CD is one of the most eclectic that Ive ever had the chance to review. Specifically, greg macpherson, the singer, sounds as if he is the lovechild of Warren Zevon and Jakob Dylan. Each song brings to the listener a different influence, a different tempo, a different total sound, and it really keeps the CD from being boring or tiresome. Bouncing from indie rock as in the song "concrete", pop-rock stylings are broached with "$6 all day", and this occurs with all twelve tracks on this disc. If you are looking for something like the typical G7 disc, you arent going to be finding it on this disc. The CD is really a journey through all the different sounds and emotions, and trying to review the CD based on one or two songs will just not work, as the reviewer will miss so much that this CD has to offer. greg macpherson is the type of performer that one can just see making it big in the next few years. He plays music that is catchy, plays it well, and plays it in such a way that it causes fans to come back for more.
