A LightRaider who qualifies can become a WindRider gets a talking Giant Eagle for a partner from the OverLord. If their eagle is killed they cannot get a new one.
The LR gets a permanent upgrade in Vision (+2) and use of their lance (+2) for aerial combat. A WindRider can ride bare back but most have a sadle for aerial combat.
The Eagles are 10 feet tall (from head to foot) and have a 15-20 foot wingspan. They have a Vision of 10. They can also one full-sized adult or two kids.
