Long ago in the beginnings of EdenAgain, the Great Red Dragon Abaddon took one egg from the Kakia (wickedness) dragon and transported it across the universe to EdenAgain. The egg mutated in the alien atmosphere and divided into nine serpents before hatching. The young dragons started to terrorize the people of the planet. These dragons multiplied and took over the world with their mind speech.

Each of the nine origial dragons descended into diferent families. These families are Crystal, Gaze, Fluorescent, Firedrake, Dream, Slime, Shadow, Sea Serpent, and Rainbow.

Each of these families are broken into different sizes: Fledgling, Firewyrm, Mature, Elder, and Eldermost.
