Using Boards for Other Countries in Monopoly® CD-ROM
DOCUMENT PURPOSE
This document explains the procedure for changing the board image to that used
in different countries in the Monopoly® CD-ROM game Boards are
available as follows: USA, UK, French, German, Blank. The blank
board contains no text. Only the board and the colored squares.
INSTRUCTIONS:
1 - Use notepad to edit the monopoly.ini file located in the directory where you
installed monopoly If you do not know where monopoly is installed use find
to locate the file. Find the line which reads:
BoardImage=USA
2 - Change USA to one of the other available choices (USA, UK, French, German, Blank)
3- Save the file and restart the game. The new board image will appear.
