Keb's Tricks

Here are a few of my tricks, both from the caster's and the audience's perspectives, and, where applicable, the victim's as well.

Keb's Evocative Enchantment

A spell for the purpose of studying enchantment through an old, powerful song.

You prepare to cast Keb's Evocative Enchantment.
You begin singing a song from your childhood, recalling a babbling brook in the woods.
You close your eyes as you fall into the soft, enchanting melody, and your voice grows stronger.
You reach the final verse of the gentle song, the one about the enchanted forest.
Your throat feels a bit tight. If only everyone could live in an enchanted forest!

You gaze into the crystal ball and see:
Keb Casaubon starts singing in a very soft voice, a tune evoking images of a stream bubbling through a forest.
As she gets into the enchanting melody, Keb Casaubon's voice begins to rise and she closes her eyes.
Keb Casaubon reaches the final verse of her gentle song, telling of the enchanted forests of old.
You wipe a tear from your eye as Keb finishes her song. If only everyone could live in an enchanted forest!

Keb's Disappearing Act

A spell to toy with the audience, using a large aquamarine crystal.

You prepare to cast Keb's Disappearing Act.
You clasp your aquamarine crystal in one hand, wave to the audience, and whistle Dixie.
You momentarily convince your morphic field that your are, in fact, a rainshower, and move over by six feet before it realizes it was duped.
You can't help grinning at your confused audience as you flick a stray spray of condensation onto the back of someone's neck. That was fun!

You gaze into the crystal ball and see:
Keb Casaubon holds her aquamarine crystal amulet in one hand, waves with the other, and whistles an enchanting melody.
With a sound like a heavy rainshower, Keb Casaubon disappears, leaving only a splash of water in her wake.
As you look around to see where she's gone, you suddenly feel a spray of water on the back of your neck. Keb grins behind you.

Keb's Delusion Nudger

A spell for the helpful purpose of forwarding an object's delusions of Grandeur, to be cast on an object needing more convincing to take it's new name. Here shown cast upon a pretty doll that has already accepted it's greatness. Note: I made the last bit impossible so I've never actually finished it and I forgot what the result was, but who knows, I might remember one of these days.

You prepare to cast Keb's Delusion Nudger on Princess Keb Doll.
You examine Princess Keb Doll carefully and curse it soundly for being so slow.
You impatiently enchant Princess Keb Doll for lack of anything better to do with it.
Your impatience seems to brew up around Princess Keb Doll in a blue haze.

You gaze into the crystal ball and see:
Keb Casaubon examines Princess Keb Doll carefully and curses it for being so slow.
Keb Casaubon impatiently enchants Princess Keb Doll for lack of anything better to do with it.
Keb Casaubon's impatience seems to brew up around Princess Keb Doll in a blue haze.
