D'Illyria University's Guide to The Actors on Suspense

RADIO ACTORS ON SUSPENSE

Suspense was America's longest running dramatic anthology program, with 945 episodes. Indeed, the last episode of Suspense aired after the final episode of Your's Truly, Johnny Dollar on September 30, 1962, and thus rang down the curtain on the drama series on American radio.

During its heyday, major stars acted on Suspense including Vincent Price, Victor Mature, Cary Grant, Marlene Dietrich, Lucille Ball, Jack Benny and many more. Suspense also had a repertory of supporting actors, such as Hans Conried, Bill Johnstone, and Larry Dobkin, who played roles in dozens of episodes.

Our index pages are divided into three sections: A-F, G-M, and N-Z. All actors on Suspense are listed on these pages. If an actor played in only one or two episodes, their name and episodes are on the index page itself. If the actor played in three or more episodes, a link will take you to their Episode page.

We will be adding biographical information, photos, and plot synopses as time goes on.
