Where You Stand

Sometimes love,
Is more then you can take.
Sometimes hope
Is all you have at stake.

Sometimes feeling
Can take a little time.
Sometimes crying
Will leave you feeling blind.

But when your sorrows
Are closing in,
And your spirit
Is diminishing...

Just close your eyes
Reach out your hand,
And I will be there
To help you stand.

When your loved ones
Are out of reach.
When your friendships
Leave you weak.

When even God
Is not around.
When there is no one
To be found.

Just close your eyes
Give me your hand,
I will be there
I want you to stand.

When your sorrows
Are closing in,
And your spirit?
Diminishing.

Just close your eyes
Reach out your hand,
And I will be there
Where you stand.

Don't let the darkness
Break your heart.
Don't let the shadows
Tear you apart.

Because I will be there
Holding your hand.
I will be there
Where you stand.

When the shadows
Are closing in,
And your spirit?
Diminishing.

Just close your eyes...
Hold out your hand,
And I will be there
Where you stand.

Always will be there...
...where you stand.
