Mother

Soft, beautiful ivory hands,
That soothed every of my tears.
A voice ahunting and calming
One I'll remember all my days.

Always gentle,
Full of grace.
But sometimes firm,
Knowing when to scold.

Always knowing,
Never ending.
Always loving,
Never ceasing.

Brilliant eyes
That remind me of chocolate.
A smile that was always
There for comfort.

Hair spun of gold
With the song of an angel.
Soft and cuddly
Like a mama bear.

A composure so strong,
Even when in pain.
A love never dying...
Always there...just the same.

My mother,
My protector.
My mother,
My best friend.

Mother.
