Hope For Tomorrow

Hope For Tomorrow

Promises of forgotten dreams,
From your face, each of them beam.
Your eyes full of sorrow, darkened with pain,
As the tears fall gently, like cool spring rain.

Hope you have, falling aside,
You have to be strong now, you cannot cry.
The tortures that strain your every move,
You have to hold on, you cannot lose.

As the pains of your life, crumble to the ground,
As all around you, your world tumbles down.
As you strive to hold on, but feel no one cares
You can't help but wonder what it would be like, if you weren't there.

The pains of your life, so strong and so cold,
But you have to hold on, you have to be bold.
No matter the torture, the pain and the sorrow,
You must be strong, there will be tomorrow.

Tomorrow, you see, you will be okay
Tomorrow the sunshine, could brighten your day.
Hold on to your dreams, don't let them pass,
Tomorrow you could have them, have them at last.
