| Episode 10 � Death of the Inners By: Duo Mina came into the restaurant screaming bloody murder. All of the employees and customers stared at her, not knowing to call for help or run out screaming. Mina ran to the table where she saw her friends. All of the girls looked at her, and laughed. They all knew why Mina was screaming like a crazy, six year old. Her boyfriend, Robbie, dumped her school that day, and Mina didn�t take it very well. Amy, who was depressed for her as well, tried to sooth her, �At least you had someone, Lita and Rei couldn�t get someone if their lives depended on it�� Lita and Rei went berserk, screaming and cursing Amy. Serena, Rini, Hotaru, Trista, Michelle, and Amara went into a giggling attack. Meanwhile, Maxx was drinking a orange soda leaning on a giant tree in the park. He stared into the window of the caf� that the girls were sitting in. He watched them, taking mental notes on their behaviors and likes. He finished his soda and made a perfect shot into the trash can. He turned back and saw a strange figure outside the window, watching the scouts as well. He found this disturbing, and started to walk over to investigate, but he disappeared. Now he knew what it was, a Youma, and that wasn�t good. The Negaverse must be targeting one of them. That reminded him, where in the world was Linda, she was gone for over an hour. He walked over to the window right outside the scout�s table and knocked on the window and mouthed �Negaverse� and they were out in a second. He explained that there was a Youma watching them in the caf�. Mina seemed the most non-caring, she was in a world of her own. They decided they would meet at the temple at 6:30 sharp, but they told Serena 6:00. They all went their separate ways, Lita, Mina, Rei, and Amy; Serena and Rini; and the Outer Scouts. Maxx stayed, waiting for Linda to find him. Malachite followed the Inners, jumping from tree to tree. His prize was Mina, Rei, and Amy. Malachite waited for the opportunity, and he knew it was soon. Maxx sat down on the bench in the park, getting pissed that Linda wasn�t showing up. He had been waiting for 2 hours now, and it was getting near time to go to the Shrine for the meeting. He fell asleep on the bench. An hour later, Linda, who was staring down at him, awakened Maxx. Maxx looked up at her and smiled, �Hey girl, wait, what time is it?� Linda looked at her watch and pleasantly answered, �It is 5:50, why do you want to know, do you have a date?� Maxx�s face struck quickly in horror, �Oh no, the meeting at the shrine is in 10 minutes, I said we would be there!� �We�ll, lets get going,� Linda said coolly, �We can make it there in time!� Linda then grabbed his hand and started to pull him away. Maxx looked at her in surprise. He had known this girl all of his life and she never held his hand in the fashion that she did now. Maybe I am just turning this into something it is not, Maxx thought. At the Shrine, Serena was walking in, on time I might add, and said her hellos. They looked at the clock, 5:56. Amara looked out into space, wondering if she and Michelle and her would have to die for the safety of the Earth, and the Galaxy. Outside of the shrine, Maxx and Linda ran up the steps, and there to meet them was Serena. �Hey guys, you were late this time!� Serena said, and laughed. Maxx and Linda ignored her and ran inside and sat down. Everyone stared at them and went on with their conversations. �Well, we have 3 crystals, and the Negaverse has none,� said Luna in her monotone voice. Ami looked up, �I like those odds.� The meeting was over and everyone was leaving. Everyone went their separate ways, tomorrow was Monday, school day, so they went straight to bed. It was Monday, and school was 5 minutes away. Maxx waited quietly in front of the class he had first period and looked out for Linda. He was wondering if he would end up with her. His mental images were of his past, or he guessed they were of the past, with Linda in a strange outfit, which was a black gown, and they danced in a palace, and the crowds were gazing. Maxx wondered where these visions were coming from, he guess they were just past dreams. He was brought back to Earth by the hand of Linda, escorting him into the classroom. Linda�s aroma was a fine Lavender and she had on fiery red eyelashes that matched with he black rose lips. Linda�s smile was very pleasant, and Maxx stared at her enchantedly. Linda looked back to Maxx, with his bright purple eyes and blond that she new changed with his scout powers into purple. Maxx�s blond hair fell neatly into place and his arms where bulging with new muscle, she guessed from the battles. Class began and lunch was soon approaching. Maxx watched the clock intently, remembering that after school he had better watch for the enemy. He sensed a feeling he hadn�t felt in a long time and a vision was triggered. He saw himself fighting in a war, locked in mortal combat with an enemy that looked like a human. He was fighting with two swords and Maxx, who was transformed, with a strange sword. They fought until another scout came and assisted him, and then the enemy disappeared. The ball rang and school was out. Amy, Rei, and Mina were going to study at the Temple and where ambushed by Malachite. �What do you want?� asked Rei. Malachite smiled, but then a faint picture of Queen Beryl appeared and spoke, �Malachite, come back I have another for the job, come back now!� Malachite disappeared and out of the portal came the man for Maxx�s vision. �Hello, I am Bremon, I am a Master of all Weapons. I have hunted all my live for a battle with a opponent that�s could compare with me.� Bremon finished and fired a bolt of Lightning into all three of them and then sliced them all with his two long swords.
