A.K.A: Troy Mulford
Hometown: Close to Scottsbluff
Current Residence: Denver, Colorado (just moved from Ft. Collins, Colorado)
Education: currently accounting student at CSU (graduating in May)
E-mail: [email protected]
Hobbies: watching the skers, of course (thank God for Fox sports Rocky Mountain, I get the games here in Denver that aren't on ABC and if the game isn't televised, I resort to the Pinnacle sports netowrk, home of the Huskers).
I am also a big-time walleye fisherman, and I'm currently entering into some local tourneys here in Colorado and bordering state--going to a big one at Big Mac in Ogalala in the summer. (Hopefully one day, I'll make it to the PWT (Professional Walleye Trail).

Favorite Husker players:

1 - Tommie Frazier
2 - Mike Brown
3 - Scott Frost for his absolute toughness
4 - Ahman Green for his elusiveness and speed
5 - Matt Davison for his hands
6 - Joel Makovicka for the fullback

Favorite Husker moments:

When T.O. Finally got his national championship in the
95 Orange Bowl--I had to leave a party and go home to watch it because if I didn't leave, there would have been a ruckus.
     Also, I loved the
94 CU/NU game, when CU was ranked so high with their so-called high powered "O", I loved the total domination that the "Blackshirts" displayed over their offense.
     The
97 missouri game was a nailbiter, and not too fun, until the end of course.
     The
96 Orange Bowl against Florida. That team in my opinion was the best ever assembled. I would take any team in history to date and match them up, and I would guarantee a Husker Victory.

What being a Husker fan means to me:
The enjoyment of watching 19 and 20 year olds battle it out with their hearts on the line, knowing that they aren't getting paid yet, and I stress yet.
I don't really watch pro sports anymore, because of the money issue, so I love to watch the Big Red in the fall, and I fall into a little bit of a depression until the start of the next coming year. people here in Colorado can't stand Nebraska, but everytime I get asked who my team is I tell them the best program in the country--the Huskers.

I can tell you I get much harrassment for this, I know they do it with for humors' sake, for CU can't compare. I get really intense for the Husker games, even though my girlfiend always tells me that I am not playing and have no impact on the outcome. She especially busts my chops because she is a big CU fan. We can't watch the game together, but ever since we started dating, I always get the last laugh. It was a close on last year.

Lastly, I guess I really like the adrenaline rush of watching the game, vicariously each die-hard fan lives through their team, as I do to.
