Favorite Husker: Matt Davison (The miracle maker)
Favorite Husker Moment: 1997 Missouri Tigers vs. Nebraska Cornhuskers "The Catch" by Matt Davison. Also, driving to Tempe, AZ with my dad and brother to watch Nebraska beat Tennessee 31-21. One of the best days to remember. Meeting Tom Osborne for the first time is one of  my favorite moments as well.

Other Favorite Husker Moments:
I was at the Fiesta Bowl 2000 (Nebraska vs. Tennessee) and my brother, and I were waiting to get some autographs outside of the stadium. It was a day before the game and the players and their family members were invited into the stadium to have a big gathering and dinner. My brother and I waited outside until the players came out of the stadium. Unfortunately, the buses that were transporting the players back to their hotel room were in a designated area, so we were not able to see/meet the players. However, Charlie McBride came out with some of his family members and I told my younger brother, "Hey, there is McBride.....Let's go get his autograph!" My brother insisted that it was not him, so I doubted my eyesight and took his word. As I began to look harder at this individual I realized that it was McBride and that time it was too late to do anything about it. No Autograph, No Nothing! 'Til this day I have not let my brother live that down! So to all fellow Husker fans that have younger brothers' please remind them that the older brothers are the wiser ones and should not be doubted.

As we left the stadium to go back to our hotel room loud sirens and flashing lights headed in our direction. As I drove towards the intersection, I saw five Highway Patrol Police Officers with their lights flashing and sirens screaming down the main street. I said, "What is this?" Then I saw three Grey Hound buses carrying the Nebraska football team following the police officers in an escort. "Man, what a sight"! My first thought was.....The President of the United States is here? Then I realized that it wasn't the President, it was our beloved Huskers!

What the Huskers mean to me: The tradition and the dedication of the Nebraska Cornhuskers is beyond one's comparison to any other college football team in the country. The hard work of the players and coaching staff is second to none. The Huskers strive to be the best year in and year out. Growing up watching and following the Huskers has been a family past time. We gather together every Saturday to enjoy the trouncing and the pounding the Huskers give to opponents week in and week out. It is what we looked forward to each Saturday and that tradition will never end.................Go Big Red!
