Teaching is a thankless job which pays poorly, loses respect in the national media, and annoys those who we help so much there is a law called truancy. So why do we do it? For me, it is the look on a student's face as the click of understanding dawns on a student's face. That look has carried me through angry students, frustrated parents, and even employment searches. This site is a resource for all those seeking the same thing, because we can all use seeing that vision of comprehension a little more often.
