I'm sorry to say that this picture comes no where near conveying the beauty and raw power of the Columbia River. This eastern view from the the Vista House at Crown Point is breathtaking. It is easy to see how this view inspired a song

If you look closely, you can just see the Chanticleer Point Observation platform pearched precariously on the edge of the bluff located just right of center in this picture. "Wow what a great place to take a picture," you might say...well I said it to. Sooo..."Turn the Page" to quote an old Bob Seger song and see for yourselves!
