On September 1, 2002 Dee Carter became the second Tequila Worm elected to "Ring Worms." Dee was always calm and cool and provided great leadership for the Worms during his playing days. He was always popular amongst teammates, opponents, and umpires. During his ceremony, Dee received his jersey #29 nicely framed, a Ring Worm trophy and autographed ball signed by several Worm players. Dee currently makes his home in Plano, Texas and still enjoys keeping up with his former team. Former teammate and roommate David Rohr says that "Dee was the ultimate team player and is as a good as he was a teammmate." Dee will forever be a Worm." | |
