  • Earl and wife Cindy have no children.
  • After struggling through the 2000 season, and part of the 2001 season, abruptly retired from the Worms during the Beaumont State Tournament, June 23, 2001.
  • Was also one of the fiestiest players in Worms history, once having launched a bat over Bronco's head following a called third strike.
  • Survived numerous injuries in a doubleheader in 1999, and finished both games.
