| After leading 16-6 early, the Worm changed positions. That wasn't the reason, but the Red-Eye Assassins scored 12 runs in the 4th inning to take an 18-16 lead. After shutting the Worms down in the 4th, they scored 3 more in the 5th. That forced the Worms to score 5 runs to tie the score to keep the game going. The Assassins scored 2 in the top of the 6th, but the Worms bounced back with 3 runs to win the game. Brian Cantu went 4-4 with 2 doubles and a triple, while Bubba Tipton went 4-5 with 3 runs and 3 RBI. Ken Washington and David Rohr had 3 hits each. Bobby Cecil and Aaron Hall homered. Cecil also had 5 RBI to lead the Worms. |
