| Worms win third straight by holding on for the 12-10 win over the Train Wreck. Ken Washington and David Rohr had 3 hits each. Washington 3 RBIs as well. With the win, the Worms qualified for the State Tournament. The date and location is not known yet. With 2 players leaving, and already haven't clinched a State birth, the Worms elected not to try to pick up illegal players, and forfieted themselves out of the tournament. The Worms finished the tourney 4-2 with 3 straight wins. The Worms don't play again until the Summer League opener on May 24. |
