| The Worms finally win a game in this tournament. After blowing a 6-2 lead in the top of the 6th inning, Mike Meredith lead off with a triple. An RBI single by Randy Cain game the Worms the lead back, and John Almeida provided another run with a single. The Worms held on for the 8-6 win. Almedia was 3-4 in the game, and Greg Goebel was 3-3 with 2 RBI. |
