| Worms trailed the entire game, but rallied with 7 runs in the tops of the 6th for a 19-18 lead. Jessie's then scored twice to win the game 20-19. But Worm comeback allowed won the second seed from pool play because of run differential. With the second seed, the Worms didn't have to play until 9pm. Ken Washington was again 4-4, as was Bobby Cecil. David Rohr was 3-3 with 3 doubles and 4 RBI. Bubba Tipton and David Birchfield were each 3-4. The Worms totaled 10 doubles in the loss. |
