| The Worms actually started off strong in this game by scoring 8 first inning runs. The Mudcats bounced back with 11 in the bottom of the first. The Worms committed more errors than the Mudcats had hits. The Worms trailed the entire game after that, but clawed back to within 1 run at 15-14 after 4 1/2 innings. But the Mudcats scored 5 runs in running out the clock to end the game. Randy Cain led the Worms, going 3-3 with 3 RBI.. |
