| The shorthanded Worms battled with the Hitment but came up short. After trailing 10-2 early, the Worms tied the game 10-10 with 8 runs in the 5th inning. The Hitmen scored two in the bottom of the frame, and held on for the 12-11 win. Terry Fabian led the Worms, going 3-4 with a triple, homer, and 2 RBI. Bubba Tipton was also 3-4. |
