Comments:
The bats woke up in this one as Greg Goebel was 3-3 with his first homer of the year, and 5 RBI. Worm pickup Bob Hallahan hit two home runs and tallied 5 RBI. The Worms stayed in this game, despite picking up Jesse Davis at the last minute to field 10 players. If there had been a homerun limit, the Worm would have had a chance. Unofficial home run total for Hit and Run was 10. The highlight of the game was Jesse Davis, drunk and stoned, surviving a brutal home plate collision to record an out on a play that resulted in the Hit and Run baserunner being ejected from the game for lowering his shoulder to barrel over Jesse. Jesse took the hit, held on to the ball, got up, and shouted "yea mother f&*cker, you wanna do it again!"
