Comments:
The Worms lose in the finals of the winner's bracket. The game was played in a continuous downpour. The game started on field 3 but playing conditions were so bad that the game was moved to field 1 during the 1st inning. The conditions on that field weren't much better. The game was sloppy, and players had problems running in the mud. When this game completed, the tournament was suspended until a later date. There are four teams still left. Southwest Cardiac will play the Indians. The Worms will play the winner of that game. And the winner of that game will play Mayhem for the championship. The worst the Worms can finish is 3rd place. No date has been determined for the completion of the tournament. Greg Goebel his two homeruns in this game, and Jack Zimmerman belted his first of the year. There weren't many other highlights as the Worms were only 12-28 as a team batting. To add insult to injury, when the Worms returned to their between game watering hole, a bunch of sissy soccer players were drinking our beer. They ran off when they saw us coming, but the damage had been done.
