Welcome CFL fans to my wonderful site. This site is truly dedicated to one of the great CFL teams never to last, The San Antonio Texans. A long time ago in a city far from north of the border, football was on it's way. San Antonio was awarded a CFL in 1993, but the team never played a game. In 1995, the city was given a second chance and was awarded a franchise. Gold Miners owner Fred Anderson moved his team out of Sacramento and were coming to San Antonio to put a franchise to play in the Alamodome. That team would later be called the Texans. The Texans tried their best by attracting at many fans and TV viewers, finishing the 1995 season with a The next season, Fred Anderson was running out of money, he had no choice but to fold the texans. I was hurt inside when the Texans, in fact, part of me died. |
