| Like Barns, Covered Bridges are vanishing from our American landscapes. While some of these are still open, many are being closed and boarded up or otherwise closed. How sad! As most of you already know, most covered bridges were built for horse and buggy travel and are nostalgic reminders of a gentler time. |
