The ABC Book


The book measures 4.5" x 4.5". I made it that size because it is easy for parents to carry
around. The book cover is also monotone. I wanted the book to stick out among a sea of
colour in the bookstore.


Once you open the book you are introduced to colour. I did all the illustrations on pastels,
a medium children can relate to.


I made the words small because I felt that kids this age were just learning the alphabet.
They weren't interested in reading, but more interested in seeing the pictures.


The parents would be reading the text while the children would listen and eventually
attach the letter to the image.


Learning doesn't always have to be boring.


The illustration here is made to look like what children draw around this age. This is so
that they can relate to it.
