| The number of door prizes exactly matches the number of students who registered for W.I.S.E. 2002. The large number of prizes was made possible because of cash contributions of parents of students who registered for W.I.S.E. 2002, the contribution of five subscriptions by Scientific American, and the use of the cash reserves and prizes remaining from W.I.S.E. 2001. At the awards ceremony, the sequence of the students receiving their award envelopes will be determined randomly. After students receive their award envelopes, they may select any door prize from those that remain. | ||
