Chess Tournaments @ Your Library
Having hosted
a very successful first chess tournament for 64 players of all ages at the
Bedford Branch Library on Saturday, March 22, the Monroe County Library System
is planning to have regularly scheduled tournaments at six libraries—Bedford,
Carlton, Dundee, Ellis, Frenchtown, and Petersburg. Watch for future announcements!

interested in receiving information about the chess tournaments or about the

Rather than being a formal club at this time, the Bedford Chess
Club is an opportunity for players of all ages to play chess and make new
friends.
Chess players may drop in and
play chess at the Evelyn Bay Coffee Company on Wednesday evenings from 7:00

Until the Bedford Branch Library
relocates while the building undergoes construction to double its size, chess
players may drop in and play chess at the library on Saturday mornings
from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. (except April 5). The address and phone
