CHESS

Chess Tournaments @ Your Library

Having hosted a very successful first chess tournament for 64 players of all ages at the Bedford Branch Library on Saturday, March 22, the Monroe County Library System is planning to have regularly scheduled tournaments at six libraries—Bedford, Carlton, Dundee, Ellis, Frenchtown, and Petersburg.  Watch for future announcements!

If you're interested in receiving information about the chess tournaments or about the Bedford Chess Club, stop in at the Bedford Branch Library, phone the library at 734-847-6747, or send an e-mail to [email protected] and request to have your name added to the master list.  The requested information is as follows:

    First and last name

    Phone number (with area code)

E-mail address (the preferred method of communication)

Your interest in the chess tournaments, chess club, or both
