Share Currency

There are six denominations of the Share currency. The featured characters are as follows:

One Share: Unicorn (Mascot for Smith Road Elementary School)
Five Shares: Tiger (Mascot for Temperance Road Elementary School)
Ten Shares: Jaguar (Mascot for Jackman Road Elementary School)
Twenty Shares: Dolphin (Mascot for Douglas Road Elementary School)
Fifty Shares: Bronco (Mascot for Bedford Junior High School)
One Hundred Shares: Mule (Mascot for Bedford High School)

No denomination was created for Monroe Road Elementary School since the currency was designed prior to the establishment of that school.

The numbers appearing on each denomination have the following significance:

Series is the current year, in case we want to change this number from year to year.
Issue is the school's coded address, where the letters represent the street name.
Number is the school's phone number.

The signatures on each bill honor the recipients of this year's PTA Outstanding Educator awards.

Shown below are the recommended colors for the different denominations, with each denomination the color of the animal shown. Six bills can be printed or photocopied on an 8 1/2" x 11" sheet of paper to approximate the size of U.S. currency and to fit fairly well in a billfold. For example,

Six ones (unicorn) will fit on a piece of IVORY paper
Six fives (tiger) will fit on a piece of ORANGE paper
Six tens (jaguar) will fit on a piece of YELLOW paper
Six twenties (dolphin) will fit on a piece of BLUE paper
Six fifties (bronco) will fit on a piece of BROWN paper
Six hundreds (mule) will fit on a piece of GRAY paper
