Your Life
Share Your Life. Do we mean a commitment to those who need us -- our own families, the sick, the elderly, the young? Do we mean a helpful attitude toward others, enabling them to live fuller lives? Do we mean the giving of ourselves, the sharing of our time, the giving of our resources? Do we mean the love of our neighbor, whomever that neighbor might be?
Yes, we mean all that and more. Share Your Life is a proposed program
to assist children of families less fortunate than many of us.
This program would enable children to earn through their own efforts
specially designed currency with which to buy clothing, books, and school
supplies for themselves. They would do this through attendance at educational
programs, such as those offered in any type of after-school program. They’re earning while they’re learning. In addition, the Share Your Life program
could configure donated computers, train the student recipient, and install
the computer in his or her home.
Although we owe a special stewardship to our biological
children, all children are our joy and our responsibility.
Let’s share our resources with them.
