The UWF Will Never Be The Same -=- Damian practiced gymnastics most of his life, due in most part to his parents insistence that it would give him a sense of responsibility. He went along with it simply to appease them, but soon found that he not only enjoyed it, but that he was good at it. He amazed his instructors with his natural sense of balance, agility, and leaping ability. Dying to find a practical application for his talent, he was ecstatic when he discovered pro wrestling -=- -=- His parents were disgusted, citing wrestling to be a barbaric display totally void of any value to humanity. Damian thought otherwise, so he left his parents and struck out on his own. After a few months working the independent circuit, Damian learned something about himself. He wasnt just a rich mans son. He could hold his own in the real world. He had what it took to survive -=- -=- Damian Starshot made a name for himself across the country, dazzling audiences in bingo halls and armories with displays of agility and high-flying daring like none they had ever seen. His finishing move, the Supernova, became almost like urban legend. Then, the moment he was waiting for. He got a tryout with the UWF. Just nine days later, the contract was signed -=- --- OpEn YoUr EyEs --- -=- The scene is a small but cozy log cabin nestled in the mountains of the Monadnock region of New Hampshire. The snow on the mountainsides glistens in the morning sunshine, lending a calm and serene feeling to the area that too few people ever get to witness. For some, this is as close to Heaven as you can get on this earth. For Damian Starshot, its home -=- -=- A UWF camera crew has been sent here to interview Damian. To get his thoughts, feelings, and opinions on the Ultimate Wrestling Federation, its roster, and his future as a member of it. Damian is standing on a balcony wearing black Caffiene cargo pants, grey, white, and orange Etnies sneakers, and a grey and orange Etnies longsleeve shirt. His short blonde hair is spiked up, and his eyes are hidden behind a pair of silver and black Ray-Ban wraparounds. Hes looking out over this winter paradise, admiring the beauty of the Granite State. He turns, and walks back into his home as the camera crew backs up. He pours himself a sloe gin fizz, sits down at the bar, and begins to speak -=- So....Im in the UWF. Im on a roster that may be the greatest assemblage of talent in wrestling history. But that doesnt mean SHIT. Because Im better than everyone else in this company put together. Ive been tearing apart the independents for months, getting more gold in my first year than anyone in history. I held three World Titles at once, and unified them to crown myself king of the independents. Has anyone else ever done that? I think not. Ive fought big men, small men, fast men, slow men, strong men, weak men, and even women. Nothing has phased me. No one has stopped me. And now Im here to prove that I can hang with the "big boys" just as easily. I may not have as much in-ring experience as some of these "legends", but I have more raw talent than all of them combined. Im faster than the fastest, meaner than the meanest, and better than the best. You want to know what I think about being here? I think its a joke. I think Im going to mop up here just as fast I did everywhere else. I think Im going to add to my gargantuan collection of gold like a pimp in a jewelry store. And I think Im going to lay waste to all the Serial Thryllas, Pegasus Warriors, and Ethan Tylers the UWF can throw at me. -=- Damian finishes his drink, pours a second one, and continues speaking -=- I know, I know. I know just what youre all saying. Im just a smart-ass know-it-all whos gonna eat his words the first time I step into a UWF ring. WELL SHUT THE FUCK UP. All the smart little internet nay-sayers didnt buy into the franchise of Damian Starshot when I first started making waves on the independent circuit. Well, I shut their word-holes pretty damn fast, and the same is gonna happen to all of you. In the end, it doesnt really matter. Think what you think, say what you say, its all the same in the end. Damian Starshot is here, and the UWF is about to change. Now get the fuck out of my house. -=- Damian kicks the camera crew out of his house, and slams the door in their faces. Does this really answer any of the questions that followed Damians signing with the UWF, or does it only raise new ones? Only time will tell -=- |
