Daily Notes on Poetry & Related Matters

8 September 2005: A website I strongly recommend is Dan Waber's Minimalist Concrete Poetry Site. Here's one poem I stole from it:

  lst
last

I would love to have composed that! It's by Andrew Russ. I was particularly happy to have happened upon it today because it will work beautifully in my essay on the influence of E.E. Cummings, who was probably the lst to make aesthetically significant infraverbal use of the fact that the small el in most fonts equals one in English.
