17 July 2005: I finally got around to making a complete mathemaku using the illumage I made 8 July. I had a lot of trouble with it, but last night thought of putting "sound of rain" into my dividend in order to connect it to the rest of what I had, and that (I think) took care of it. It's an extremely sentimental poem, by the way--ultimately based on a true-life umbrella I once shared. I've universalized it away from all references to that except the umbrella, though. I think the thing one of my best efforts at the moment, but who knows what I'll think of it next time I look at it. Here it is, with an enlargement of the dividend following it to make its text easier to read:
