Daily Notes on Poetry & Related Matters

3 June 2005: With this entry, I'm back on schedule (except for the many entries I missed around the time of Hurricane Charlie last summer and fall). And, behold, I have nothing to say. Ergo: a first draft of a new possibly, however slightly, poem:

Poem Goes Pogo

Too long off-page,
Poem one day
decided to
to,
wherever, which
turned out to
be
a
strange
ex
panse parenthesesed into some
sort of algebraic equation one of whose terms
was a silence
nobling him nowhere
despite its purity and size;
and he thought
almost wingfishily
into Okefenokee
a
float
wishleasefully,
even its
lexicon
trinkablinkally
smearing better
all the long air
so long ago even
when new.wwwwwwwwww

Note: see my willow.wwwwwww mathemaku of two days ago.
