30 April 2005: Apparently it was time for my annual attempt to get a decent word for artwork-recipient. I know--I announced "aesthricipient" is THE word not very long ago, at all. But it averages out to about once a year. . . . Well, maybe more often, I don't know. Anyway, "aesthrecipient" never felt right to me although I couldn't put my finger on any flaw in it. Maybe that it combines part of a word with a whole word? Whatever, the new word of choice is MULTICIPIENT, ml tih CIH pee ent.
Weird. I voted against "multicipient" even as I wrote the above. Why? It seems to unspecialized. Could be a recipient of most anything. So I got thinking in terms of a recipient of a work and just now came up with "composcipient"--cahm poh CIH pee ent. I'm not sure this is the best word, either, but I'm surprised I didn't come up with it earlier as I've been using "compose" as the verb of choice for what I do as a pluraesthetic poet for quite a while.
